How do I use No No-See-Um?

No No-See-Um can be applied directly to the skin or to clothing. For best results, shake well and apply generously and repeat as often as necessary. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. No no-see-um has been proven to provide up to four hours of protection against no-see-ums, mosquitos, and black flies.

DEET free….what does that mean?

DEET (N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide) is a highly toxic chemical found in most bug repellents. When ingested, it may affect the central nervous system. It can cause skin irritation in sensitive persons. High concentrations applied to the skin can cause blistering, followed by severe scarring. DEET has also been implicated in seizures among children.

Our natural ingredients are safe, gentle and effective and are not harmful to humans, pets or the environment. Our formula works on insects without harming or killing them. Biting insects follow the scent of carbon dioxide gas and our skin and breath naturally give off this gas. Our product has a distinctive, but very pleasant, odor which makes it difficult for pesky insects to locate the carbon dioxide released from our bodies. 

Do you test on animals?

No No-See-Um does NOT conduct product or ingredient tests of any kind on animals.

Is your product safe on pets?

Our products are made from all natural ingredients that are safe for both humans and pets. However, please note, we have never tested our products on animals. Also, our products are not meant for consumption. If you have concerns about using the product on your pet or if you have a pet that has ingested the product, your veterinarian is your best resource.

Is No No-See-Um safe to use on people with sensitive skin?

Everyone’s skin and physiology is different and will react differently to certain ingredients. Even all natural ingredients can cause irritations. We always recommend doing a patch test prior to using any product. Place a small amount on the inside of the wrist or inner thigh and watch for a reaction. If you see any redness, discontinue using the product. 

I am concerned that I may be having a reaction to your product. What can I do?

Stop use immediately. Contact your local physician.

• If eyes – rinse gently with water for 15-20 minutes. 

• If swallowed – call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. 

• On skin – in very rare cases, skin irritation has occurred. Rinse skin with water for 15-20 minutes.

What is the best way to store No No-See-Um?

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Store No no-see-um in a cool, dark place, such as a hall or linen closet. 

How will my No No-See-Um be shipped?

Can I cancel or change an order?

Unfortunately, since most orders are shipped same day, unless received after 2:00 pm, it is not possible to cancel orders. However, we strive for complete satisfaction on all of our orders. If you think you made a mistake or decide you need to cancel your order for whatever reason, please contact us immediately. What is the product shelf life?

No No-See-Um has been stability-tested for shelf life of two (2) years.

Will No No-See-Um kill the bugs?

Simple answer. NO!!!!

Repelling bugs and killing bugs are not the same. We offer an all natural alternative to DEET insect repellents such Off or Cutter, which don't kill the bug either.
